Meet Our Principal Lawyer – Danuzia Pontes
My migration story began in April 2001, when I arrived in Australia from Brazil on a student visa. I studied, worked in major companies, and became an Australian citizen in 2007.
In 2010, I chose to pursue a new career. I completed a Juris Doctor and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Legal Practice from from the University of Technology Sydney, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Migration Law and Practice. This academic and professional journey was fueled by one purpose: to make a difference in the lives of others, just like me.
I am passionate about helping students, professionals, families, and businesses, and I have a strong commitment to supporting victims of domestic and family violence, many of whom I’ve helped secure permanent residency and citizenship.
I believe that knowledge should be an instrument of hope, and I am here to use mine to support your Australian dream.
